Frisbee
 

Frisbee is one of the hobbies that we decided to try just for fun. And it was truly so much fun to do! We went in autumn of 2006 to eight training sessions, where we had to practice throwing the frisbee with the right techniques, practice the right techniques for the dog to take the frisbee into its mouth and so on.. How could such an "easy" hobby be this difficult and this technical.. ?!

Even though we have newfoundlands, they are surprisingly eager in this hobby. Especially Vera loved it! Of course you should not throw the frisbee too high, nor should you expect the dog to react as fast as other breeds. Our newfies are one of the few who have actually trained this, at least no-one has ever heard the word "frisbee newf" when we tell them about our hobby.
