The X-ray of the front legs:
- In support of research into this disease and to further understand the genetics of EA, we have sent and requested blood samples from dam, sire and all the pups to be sent to Lohi research in Finland. This research is trying to identify the genes that are related to this disease. As this is a large litter with only one puppy affected, by getting as many blood samples from the siblings and parents, comparisons between the genotypes may help identify the affected gene more easily than from affected puppies from different genetic lineages.
